Day 1 - Wednesday Jan 25th

We arrived at Kahalua Airport around 2:30. Wesley and Thomas did great on the flight! A little worn-out, however, from all the excitement, Wesley looks ragged. Thomas loved the lei. Wesley promptly took his off. It was off to get our car from the rental company then to our resort Embassy Suites in Kaanapali.

Once we checked in Wendy took a nap as she was worn out. I took the boys straight to the pool. We put on a couple of lifejackets and they were off! For the first 48 hours we were like fish out of water back and forth between the ocean and the pool.

The hotel is very nice. There are tropical birds in the lobby. The pool is one acre big. They have a breakfast buffet every morning (if you want) and all the amenities you could ask for; concierge with advice on the best activities, unlimited supply of beach towels and a host of other things. We had dinner near the beach here at the hotel then went to bed.
